Re: MIDI Designer - interfacing
;) Cool Thanks Rim If anyone cares to pm me, you know, just for a chat it'd be nice. Hmm, I wonder where I could find that protocol info? Rim Are there any plans to extend midi transport control beyond using the Mackie protocols. Seems a bit restrictive. (Thanks for all your work. Don't mean to soun...

Re: MIDI Designer - interfacing
Thanks both. I'll upgrade and see if that sorts it. If either of you have successfully sent transport control messages to Auria could you please post a pic of the button settings (or even share a layout :) Would be great to have a head start. Edit: The main info I need is the hex sysex codes that co...

MIDI Designer - interfacing
I'm trying to use the MIDI Designer App to create an interface feeding SYSEX MMC messages into Auria, so that I can control Auria's transport remotely. The first hurdle is getting Auria to listen to MIDI Designer. Anyone know how? Pics attached are what I'm seeing in Auria and MIDI Designer. (Sorry ...

Re: Midi capabilities
It's not mentioned in the manual, so I guess it doesn't support it. I've asked Yamaha for info. If I hear back I'll let you all know. Currently looking at 'MIDI Designer' to see if it will work as an interface/converter allowing my hardware to control Auria. May open up lots of possibilities! Let yo...

Re: Midi capabilities
Thanks Rim Just when I'm starting to understand midi MMC comes along and changes things! The control signals are specified as packets of data where fields refer to address and commands. This data format is very different from what I'm used to when setting up midi devices. Does anyone know if there i...

Re: Midi capabilities
Does anyone know if it is possible to control Auria transport controls via midi?
I have a midi foot controller (MFC10) and it would be very cool to be able to play, rewind, record, etc. with this.
Thanks

Re: Charging iPad while connected to interface
image.jpg So, I finally got this in the post today (sorry for the shitty pic). I'm using my ipad3 and Focusrite Scarlett 18i20. No, this doesn't work with my setup. It will charge, but only if no other device is connected, and won't connect to any other device whether charging or not. I'm going to ...

Re: Charging iPad while connected to interface
Got an adapter on order.
Only costing me about £10, so thought I'd give it a shot.
Will let you know how I get on once it arrives.
Coming from China so may take a while.

Transfering projects with Reaper
Has anyone been able to do this?
I've checked on the Reaper forum, and AAF is not supported.
Even AATranslator doesn't support Auria AAF files.

Re: FLAC import supported? + A/B suggestion
Same about FLAC. Will have to use wav.
Compressed files aren't so great for reference monitoring.
Subgroups for A/B'ing
Yes, obvious now you say it!
Thanks

FLAC import supported? + A/B suggestion
I've searched both here on the forum and in the manual, but can't find anything about this. Can I import FLAC audio files into a project? I want to be able to use FLAC versions of commercially released tracks for reference monitoring, and being able to do this within Auria would be cool. (Where can ...

Re: Is there a dropbox export issue?
I've backed up my entire directory structure to my pc using iFunBox. I uninstalled/reinstalled Auria, and then copied back firstly the problem project (which worked), and then my other projects (and they also work). So, brilliant, everything is working again. (Rim, do you still want me to send you t...

Re: Is there a dropbox export issue?
Brilliant! Nice one Rim.
Obviously I'll make sure clean up is turned off for now.
Are my corrupted files still corrupted? Or is there a way to recover them?

Re: Is there a dropbox export issue?
I can, and will, send you the corrupted project (tonight), but I don't think Dropbox is the problem. I'm getting the memory error, but have no other apps open (double clicked home, etc.), and this is happening on projects that I've never exported to Dropbox. Also, if I try and load a snapshot no sna...
