Decision: Steinberg UR44C or Focusrite Scarlett 18i8?
I'm trying to decide which of the two above interfaces will be easiest to use with Auria. I think both CAN work, but Focusrite seems to distance themselves from ipad application and don't have any ipad friendly setup software. Steinberg, on the other hand makes a point of being class compliant and o...

Covid 19 Easter: 2019 iPad Pro, Focusrite 6i6...mixing old and new?
I’ve stepped away from Auria for a few years, but am back due to COVID 19. My worship leader has asked me to record some MIDI and audio files for use in a virtual Easter service. I have: 2018/19 iPad Pro 12.9” with usb c port. Several years ago I was using a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 digital interface ...

Auria + Positive Grid's new Final Touch mastering App??
As a hobbyist, I 've had a blast recording with Auria. Mastering has been my downfall - I just haven't been satisfied with the overall quality of my mixes. Today, I learned that Positive Grid launched "Final Touch", a new all-in-one iPad mastering app that looks pretty amazing. As I am sti...

Re: Can time stretch be used on a whole song to speed it up?
Of course - thanks Rim!
Mixing down and then importing will "glue" the piece together as one file, then its "stretch away" on the new track/file.
This is what I was missing.
Thanks - will try that tonight!

Can time stretch be used on a whole song to speed it up?
...and if so, how would you do it? I need to speed up a recording a little to get a faster tempo and shorter overall playing time. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Re: Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 - all outputs accessable via Auri
I can't answer your question, but you might ask it over in the Audio Interfaces section. There's a person from Focusrite who is great about answering questions there, although she may see this one here also.
Good luck

Re: Optimizing Plug Ins to conserve CPU?
Ok freezing helped a lot, but I still had some CPU issues. Nice feature, though, and it is so easy to freeze, yet if I find edits yet to be done in a frozen track, unfreezing is quick and easy. The more tracks I froze, the more stable things got. I assume that I should be prioritizing tracks with th...

Re: Optimizing Plug Ins to conserve CPU?
Rim, are the oversampling modes off by default or do we have to go in and disable each one before use? Same question here. I just went over to Fab Filter's site and pulled up the PRO-Q manual trying to answer the same question and couldn't find an oversampling control called out in the manual (I di...

Optimizing Plug Ins to conserve CPU?
I've got a 16 (all mono) track project recorded and am moving to add effects. Running into CPU issues. Using: Convolution Reverb, PRO-Q and PRO-C on a number of tracks. Also using two Fab Filter plug-ins on the master: PRO-C and PRO-L. Are there settings on these FX to help reduce CPU use or make th...

Focusrite VRM and iPad with Auria...possible?
Running a wee bit off topic here, but hoping folks who know more than I do about this can jump in. I have a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 and am using it with Auria and iPad 3, getting good results. I'm intrigued by the VRM for monitoring, as I'm working with headphones exclusively. Wondering if the VRM ca...
