Presonus ioStation 24c
Hi, all. The above interface is fairly new. It is combined with a control surface which makes for a nice, compact package. It does require power but for a small home setup that’s OK with me. The one thing I can’t find is whether it’s class compliant and can be used with an iPad. Does anyone here kno...

Re: External storage
@MicciHay, check out this thread in the Audiobus forum. I have the HooToo and it works fine with Audioshare. Of course, this goes to show you the hoops one has to go through to surmount iOS' limitations.

I'm looking at the Yamaha MG12 UX myself. I had thought about getting annAudient interface but I think a mixer will be more practical for me.

Re: Yamaha THR10 as an interface?
I have the THR10. It's an amazing desktop amp. I've had it for over a year and I love it. It works great as an interface for my Mac. I have not found a way to get it to work with iOS at all. I have sent a couple of messages to Yamaha requesting they open it up to iOS but nothing so far. Sad because ...

Re: Motu 24ao and Audient iD22 for Auria
I'm now wondering whether the id14 is good enough for my needs. I really am only concerned with direct guitar and bass input and mic pres, no need for simultaneous tracking or multi mic recording.

Re: Motu 24ao and Audient iD22 for Auria
Thanks for the info, Anthony. The ID22 and 14 look great. When you say without a hub do you also mean no wall wart? Also, is the ID22 immediately recognized in all apps, like GB and Cubasis?

Re: What about AURIA PRO???
Hindsight is always 20/20. Given the quality of the first version of Auria, I'm fine giving them slack for the delay, lots of it.

Re: Major Auria Announcement
Having MIDI learn would open up Auria to a bunch of devices. I'd love to see it in Auria.

My expectation is that Rim will produce a singularly amazing iPad DAW which will be well worth the wait.

Re: Ipad audio interface to sync external midi gear
Look into the iConnectivity devices. Others, especially on the Audiobus forum, consider them top notch in routing flexibility. To top it off, they'll charge up iOS devices.

Re: Apple Airport time capsule for external hard drive
I would imagine not but don't have sufficient information to categorically say no. I would imagine a NAS like Synology's or Westerna Digital would work perfectly. I've been aiming to get one for home. If I do I'll try it out and report back.
