Re: Record on iPad Mix on PC?
As well as stems, you can create an AFF file and import that into many DAWs. I do that and import into Logic on the mac. Midi files have to be sent separately though and don't save as part of the AFF file, all other tracks do.

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
I have Final Touch as an IAA plugin and that shows up twice as well. I did read about it somewhere but can't remember why that is the case. One entry works ok and the other doesn't. Try both in turn and you may find that one of them works ok.

Re: Auria Pro Re-install issue
Was it originally an upgrade from Auria? If so, you will need to install Auria (not pro) and then restore purchases to get back to the Pro version.

Re: Leef iAccess
Yes I have one. I keep all my projects on a 16gb micro sd card ( haven't got many). Works well just a bit slower than I would prefer. Save project to another app zips the project and transfers to the leaf. Similarly open in works just choose Auria and the project transfers back and the zip file ope...

Re: 8+ channels audio interfaces
Hello Has anyone using more than 8 channels simultaneously using Auria's compatible interfaces? I'm talking about Steinberg UR824, Focusrite 18i20/18i8 or Behringer U-phoria UMC1820. Does the last brand mentioned compatible with Auria? Please kindly share your recommendation since I intend to recor...

Re: Export individual tracks?
You can try two methods. One is to mix down stems from the mix down menu or try an AAF file if the DAW the song will be imported into supports AAF files. I think with AAF you will need to transfer manually with iTunes or ifunbox. Not sure what happens with stems but I think that needs manual transfe...

Re: Mono vs Stereo Tracks
Mono/Stereo is chosen when you add a track. It may default to Stereo and it is easy to forget to check that sometimes. I used to have an itrack dock and never had any quality issues with the signal. I have used Alesis io dock and currently using Alesis iomix which is 4 channel. Recently I bought Tas...

Re: Divide a project
I dio a similar thing with our band practice recordings If each sone is separate, then each track per channel will already be separate and will have different name. In my case with 4 tracks per song, song one is track 1, 2, 3, 4, song 2 is tracks 1.1, 2.1, 3.1,4.1 etc.. You can start a new project a...

Re: Mono vs Stereo Tracks
Before deleting the track and starting again, try soloing the track, then mix down as WAV file, choose mono and select to import the track. That should give you a mono track. Thats what I have done in the past but not tried it if there is a stereo effect plugin active on the track which may prevent ...

Re: File Size
It's a lossy file and AS has to re-encode after the trim. Better to export as a lossless and convert to lossy format after the trim. Thanks for the response. Its probably ok to just use AS as a medium for transferring the file as long as there is no opening/trimming involved otherwise keep to WAV I...

File Size
Mixing down to m4a generally gives me a file size of anything between 6mb and 9mb with the type of mixes I am doing. Now, when I export into Audioshare and perform a trim - no matter how big or small the trim, the size drops to about half the original size.
Any one know why that is?

Thanks Rim. It would give users the option I suppose.
