Re: Mixdown - Possible Naming Bug
Was this changed? I now see different behavior. When I remove the added digits to the end of the filename, it doesn't warn me about overwriting the previous mixdown, and then it doesn't actually overwrite it. Which is very confusing, It goes all the way through the mixdown process and uploads to dro...

Re: Low Level on Mixdown to Dropbox
I haven't found a workaround, other than boosting the master fader when mixing down to dropbox. Hopefully this something that can be fixed in an update release. Good to know I am not the only one seeing it.

Re: Arm/monitor question
Ok - thanks for the quick response. Your assistance is one of the (many) great things about using Auria. Thanks for pointing out the distinction of of using the speaker vs USB interface. I retested with the USB interface and see that it works as you describe. The difference I have is that we use dir...

Re: Arm/monitor question
Is this still supposed to be working? I just tested again, and with both Auto Import Monitor = On and Record Monitor = On, I still have to unarm recording on the track I just recorded in order to hear it on playback. Usually I keep Record Monitor = Off because we have direct monitoring through my in...

Low Level on Mixdown to Dropbox
It seems that when I mixdown directly to Dropbox, the overall level is very low. If I mixdown to email, I get the right output level. Is there some setting related to dropbox?

+1
Please add this. This is a big part of our workflow, for individuals to export their tracks to dropbox so they can be imported to the master version of the project on other ipads

Re: Drumagog Hi Hat Tracking
any chance this might be added to drumagog for Auria sometime in the future? I would be very interested, and would be willing to pay for an upgrade. I love Auria and recording/mixing on the ipad! I would love to be able to add some hi hat replacement in addition to the drum replacement, which is gre...

MIDI Map 2box drum module
Hi, I have a 2box electronic drum module, and recording MIDI in Auria Pro. The 2box module does not use General MIDI mapping, and they have another constraint, which is that each zone is output on a sequential MIDI note. So for example, the Snare rim must always be one note (half step) higher than t...

Re: Arm/monitor question
I should add that I have Record Monitoring in Auria turned off, because we have direct monitoring through the audio interface. So maybe that is the difference. I will try it again but it seems we have to disarm the tracks before playback to hear them.

Re: Arm/monitor question
+1 Would love to see this feature, it will make our recording workflow and sessions smoother. Right now, after we record a take, we like to rewind, listen to it, see if we want to keep it or record another take. So that means we have to un-arm each track before hitting play. Then if we want to retak...

Re: Workflow for saving versions of songs
Ok - yes I thought snapshots might be best, but I need to save the audio for the tracks, so that we have multiple versions of the audio recordings. Will they do that?

Re: Projects compatible between Auria and Auria Pro?
Awesome. Good to know it is an option.
I am going to go ahead and recommend they upgrade to Pro anyway, just needed to know if this was an option.
Thanks!

Workflow for saving versions of songs
What is the most efficient way to save multiple versions of songs/projects? Here is the scenario: when tracking with the band, we like to do multiple takes. So we will do a take, and say, "let's save that one but do a few more". So what I do is - "save copy of project", give it a...

Re: Connect multiple interfaces to ipad with a USB hub?
I have an XR 18 hooked up to Auria and good so far. Auria can see all the channels etc. the only weird thing is now you have two apps to manage. For example, to change the input gain on a channel you have to switch over to the X Air app. So i also keep a laptop handy for that as well, but you don't ...
