You'll still need a powered USB hub with most of the interfaces. Although, Focusrite has already solved this problem, and is coming out with an updated firmware for the 8i6 and 18i6 which addresses this. So once you load the new firmware into the interface, you'll no longer need a hub.

Re: Tascam US-800: Not available. How about US-600 ??
The US-800 was the only multichannel tascam interface which worked with an iPad (we tried them all, including the US-600). We don't recommend the tascam anyway, because there was a headroom issue, and all the monitor outputs were forced on during recording. There are many other good choices in our l...

Re: Couple of Questions
Currently Auria only supports audio, but we have plans to add midi to Auria in the near future. We're already talking with plug-in vendors about adding virtual instrument plug-ins at the same time.
Thanks,

Re: Drumagog 5 plugin for Auria
In order to hear the samples with the preview button, there needs to be some audio on the track you've got Drumagog inserted on. Or, you can simply record enable the track (make sure record monitoring is on in the settings).

Re: Possible bug
Interesting. I will mention this to PSP, and see if this might be a bug related to the masterstrip.

Re: Release the apps Memory after finishing Use
Hi, Thanks, but unfortunately the iPad runs a little differently in that regard than programs on a mac or PC: 1. Apple doesn't allow quit or exit buttons 2. Apps always retain their memory after you close the app (by pressing home). The reason is because apps never actually quit, Instead, they are s...

Re: IR Files
We've just fixed the issue. Just go to the Auria store, and press the Restore Purchases button on top. This should download a fresh copy of the IR files, which have the fix in them.
Thanks,
Rim

Re: Audio hardware outputs?
Hi,
The iPad doesn't currently support multiple outputs, but it's something we'll support once that becomes available.
Thanks,
Rim

Re: IR Files
OK, we found the problem, it was on our end. The IR files are copied with the wrong folder name. We are fixing this now. As a workaround, just copy all the purchased IR files into the folder named IR Files. The wrong one is called IR FIles. (with a capital I).
Sorry for the trouble.

Re: IR Files
There should only be one folder: IR Files. What is the name of the other folder?
Notice the spelling must be perfect: IR Files. (with the correct capital letters)

Re: Edit resolution
The blockiness is used for larger vertical zoom levels to make the drawing faster. As you noticed, when you zoom in vertically (so about 8 tracks are visible), Auria draws at full resolution. It's a tradeoff we made between resolution and drawing speed. We thought it was better to show at least a ro...

Re: Usb sound cards
Auria is able to use sample rates of 44.1 48K and 96k (iPad is only 44.1 and 48k). If your USB audio interface can support 96k, for example, Auria will use that sample rate. You need to set the sample rate once per project (you do this when you use the New Project dialog). You can't change a sample ...

Re: IR Files
After you purchase an IR library, it should appear in the convolution file browser (along with the 25 free IR files). First, make sure you remove the convolution reverb from the channel (if it was already inserted). It will only scan for new files when it's first opened. It the files still are not s...

Kevin,
Thanks, I'll be looking at this over the next couple of days, and we'll add it to the next update if we're able to find the problem. Thanks so much for letting me know.

Re: Possible bug
Kevin,
Thanks for the info. We'll take a look at this. Can you see it this problem happens without Aux Delay Compensation turned on, or without 64 bit mode.
Thanks,
Rim
