Re: Can't Open Project
The automated rolling backups are a good thing but manual prj file backups would be a powerful addition. Users could backup at waypoints which made sense within their workflow, and potentially keep dozens as a project evolves. If automated recovery fails, I'd rather go back six hours work or a day o...

Re: Importing wav files from dropbox
What is the spec of the file: mono/stereo, sample rate, bit depth, duration? Is it definitely a PCM wave file? There's a free utility called MediaInfo (for desktop/laptop) which is great for checking out every attribute of a file. If all else fails, try 'bouncing' it to a new regular wave file on a ...

Re: Auria plug-ins help
The sample rate is fundamentally a part of your original recording. All digital audio has a 'sample rate', which is essentially the number of snapshots per second which were taken of the original audio. Every bit of audio in a project should be in the same sample rate. Higher rates offer more fideli...

Re: Auria plug-ins help
I have a couple of suggestions to offer, although I'm not absolutely answering your question! When you say 'editing' I assume you mean that very loosely, because strictly speaking editing is to do with cutting up recordings to assemble a great sequence of bits. That is something you would do in the ...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
Control points plot lines appear to always display in blue. Maybe the colour could change to reflect the parameter, which would be helpful because parallel tracks can simultaneously show control points for different parameters. I have in mind something like: Blue - Volume Red - Pan Green - Aux relat...

Re: 1.03 update issue resolved.
Rim, Looks like you're up early. Or very late! Despite the problem you describe with the prior implementation you tried - of a long drag followed by a track change causing an unintuitive snap back - that approach does offer a solution in that every desired outcome is possible via an easy gesture, al...

Re: 1.03 update issue resolved.
I understand the thinking behind this 'feature' but it's going to drive some users nuts in its current implementation. For example, I constantly import multiple tracks recorded outside of Auria (and have solid reasons for working this way). Not only do I want to sync them up precisely and easily, I ...

Re: 1.03 update issue resolved.
Exactly the same issue here. No snap is set, but it needs a big finger movement to get a clip moving along the timeline, even if I wait a few seconds before the movement. The natural response is to expect it to slide as soon as it turns red or a few moments thereafter. As it is, accurate free positi...

Re: About new stuff in Auria Store
I agree that the info is often more thin than it could be. I only found details about the Drumagog in-app purchase by trawling through this forum, and couldn't even run a site search because even though I restricted my search to thread titles in the Auria forum I just got the result ''Drumagog is to...

Thanks Rim, I'll remember that from now on... I've typically done one or the other but never made a point of doing both.

Re: Memory warning
I'd be interested to know if anyone suffers this issue right after a reboot of the device (hold down the power button until 'Power Off' appears, then hold down button after shutdown to reboot).
I don't have the problem, but often reboot to totally clean up the device memory...

Brilliant, Rim, thank you. It's great to have y'all so involved with this forum. It may seem an obviously good idea to be engaged with it but I use some apps whose developers seldom show their faces in the forums.

Re: am i really the only one?? (sluggish edit window)
I'm sure the team have worked hard to optimise the code - they have posted as much before - and I can't believe that refining it further will make a huge step change in the reponsiveness of the current UI. However I do wonder if there might be some way to offer a more responsive variant of the UI fo...

Re: Convolution Reverb Bug?
I too am experiencing convolution reverb aux return working on left channel only whenever the app is started and a saved project loaded. I have not come across the problem in any configuration other than the convolution reverb being used as a stereo aux effect, but when I use it as such I get this p...

No problem with iPad 3 32Gb iOS 5.1.1
I have seen many issues reported online recently with apps requiring uninstall/reinstall because in-place upgrades were crashing. Of course this has to be done with care to back up all data. I have not experienced any such issues myself.
