Re: Is there yet an offline transfer from GB to Auria?

Thank's. I'll try this. I guessed that the mailbox-stuck-trick would be a possible workaround. Pasting in Multitrack DAW was an extra step I would possible have got stuck on. I'll make sure to re-install it on my leave as I might have deleted it.

Is there yet an offline transfer from GB to Auria?

I'm planning take a few days off from work, staying in a house on the countryside. I have a wifi-only Ipad model, and no mobile network out there. I'm not planning to bring a computer (but I might have one nearby with no Itunes). I use several apps, but I seldom use Garageband as it seems to be lack...

Re: Blue spark digital

...Good point! But I havn't heard of any "notacable" latency problems in the reviews I've seen. The Spark also works with Windows while Mic isn't ment for PC. (I've read that using Asio for all with PC can make Apogee Mic work. But I havn't studied this. Monitoring while rec might not be p...

Re: Blue spark digital

The Apogee Mic can be plugged in directly without any extras according to what I have read. It comes with a 30-pin Ipad connector.

(The next Apogee One can also charge the Ipad while in usage according to Apogee. Batteries makes it portable, but I don't think it will then power the Ipad.)

Re: Blue spark digital

If buying for portability (which I have been considering) I would go for the more compact and similar priced Apogee Mic. I got the impression that Blue usb-mic-products usually use 16 bits, but I havn't found any info on the Spark. Apogee Mic is supposed to privide 24 bits. (Or check out the new Apo...

Re: Roland Duo-Capture EX

...I looked in the manual a couple of weeks ago, and it seems (even though it wouldn't matter to me) that using it for an Ipad (maybe just related to internal battery usage (?)) the recording limitation is set to 44.1. I'm not really sure if this is correct, but could be worth looking up if anyone p...

Re: Auria Only Recording Studio?

I use Ipad3 (wifi/16GB) from beginning to end. I also use the Apogee One (2009-to-now-version). I also use other apps for instruments, e.g. Garage Band but I prefere the ones with copy'n'paste capabilities. I use De-esser, Pro-Q and Micro Warmer.

Re: Does this trick work with Auria? As in Garage Band?

...That was extremely quick! I just went for a coffee. I guessed that Aurialink wouldn't transfer sound. It is good to know that getting second Ipad may delay the need of a new interface as I could get e.g. Apogee Jam or something similar in addition to my older Apogee One. (I rarely record more tha...

Does this trick work with Auria? As in Garage Band?

...I.e. Using two Ipads, both wih Auria Installed, and get the audio from two sources with e.g. two mono interfaces. Will, in that case, the sound easily end up in one of the devices, or on separate Ipads? http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_93754&feature=iv&src_vid=RjyEzlv...

Re: Anyone gone 3gen iPad to 4gen iPad due to Auria?

I'll probably go for a newer model later this year. However, the new lightning connector seems to bring a lot of cash to Apple as all alternatives of adaptor upgrades are a bit on the expensive side. E.g. the 30pin-cord-Lightning cost US$50 in my region. And the CC-30p that I already have did cost U...

Re: worth it to buy GarageBand to use Apple loops in Auria?

I use GB for some of the instruments. There is however no audio copy from GB. I go through Itunes. A bit cumbersome. I also use Music Studio, but I prefere the sound of GBs pianos, strings and guitars. I have been thinking of trying Sampletank.

Re: Global tiny fader?

Ok. But I get clicks when splitting, and pasting imported audiopastes. I.e. no cross-fades. It can be a cut out vocal phrase where a breath is cut out before and after. Having automatic fade for these a couple of samples would be nice to have.
