I know that this has been asked before, but now that we're getting a selective condense and a new join command in 1.08 the ability to rename regions to keep track of what I'm doing with them would be really useful.

I ++ this.
I have 15 tracks projects and names like "AudioPaste 1 1 2 1....", "AudioPaste 1 1 1 1....", "AudioPaste 1 1 2...." And it goes on :)
It becomes a jungle after several condense.

Definitely on my list, and I almost did it for 1.08, but it turned out to be a lot more complex, so I put it off until 1.09.
