Can anyone help me better understand the distinguishing features between these two plug-ins? They seem quite similar to me. Also, any particular scenarios where either are particularly effective (guitar, drums, buss or mastering, etc.)?
Any feedback appreciated. Thanks!

Re: PSP Plugins - MicroWarmer vs OldTimer
Both are great on just about anything. The OldTimer is an easy to use compressor that I love to use on electric bass, acoustic guitar, and piano. Nice color and an even smoothness. The MicroWarmer is its own beast; I love it on drums, edgy vocals, and it sends electric guitars into the stratosphere. It's also limiter of sorts. They really are very different from each other.

Re: PSP Plugins - MicroWarmer vs OldTimer
Thank you @supanorton, all I knew was both were good for warming up and fattening sound. I thought they were both compressors when I bought them, but now it seems MicroWarmer is more of a saturator, perhaps? Very much appreciate the usage tips as well
