iOS11
Re: iOS11
Update, the extra large horizontal screen on the 2.13 update with the 10.5 brings fabfilter plugings off the screen and unable to make smaller or control any right side controls when put in full screen.. I think we need a 2.14 soon? I am attempting a delete and reinstall to see if that fixes the problem, that will be the second time this week, but I'm not complaining and I appreciate all the work you do! I will let you know if it works. Edit, deleting and reinstalling does not work either, damn! Also the mixer is floating vertically? 2.11 worked fine on the 10.5, and that was out before the 10.5 was even released? Why can't you go back to that resolution?

Re: iOS11
Actually, reinstalling won't fix that issue for you. The problem is we don't have any beta testers with a 10.5 iPad Pro, so all my testing has been with a simulator. I'll look into this and see if I can improve it.
The horizontal space you're talking about is normal, and doesn't really affect anything.

Re: iOS11
I have digital audio recording experience since the beginning, I will gladly volunteer to be a beta tester, I have an iPad Pro 9.7, a 2017 9.7 and a 10.5 iPad Pro 2. I bought the 10.5 loaded as soon as it was available for the sole reason of Aria Pro, I also bought every fabfilter!
Re: iOS11
It appears to me that you made the mixer larger, to fit the screen but you neglected the baackground and it got zoomed as well,? I can move the mixer around with my finger both horizontally and vertical and is basically the same thing it was on to 2.12, ie, I can cut off the top down to the read write buttons, and still have the space at the bottom. You need to cut the background to the same size as the mixer and project window?

Re: iOS11
No, actually I made the entire screen adjust to the 10.5 screen. I just checked, and the issue with the plugin screen is a Fabfilter issue. The same problem happens on a 12.9 iPad Pro (which I have here). I recommend just not using the Fabfilter plugins in Extra Large mode. They work fine in the other modes.

Re: iOS11
Just installed the update on my 10.5 and looks like it's all good so far. I do have a question though. In the screen shot I posted, there were 2 controls hanging off the right side. One was an icon for selecting loops? And and I think the other one was a T and looked like it might've said "rename" or something. After the update, those aren't there at all any more. Are they only visible on a 12in iPad Pro? Or, do they need to be turned on somewhere?
Re: iOS11
Those extra icons are only available on the 12.9" Pro (they were showing by accident in the earlier version before I fixed the issue). They are Loop Select, Rename, Bounce, Transient and Tempo Track. All of those functions are available in the menus, but on the 12.9" Pro, there's a lot of physical touch space, so I was able to add them.

That's what I figured. thxRim wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2017 5:56 pmThose extra icons are only available on the 12.9" Pro (they were showing by accident in the earlier version before I fixed the issue). ps. this is likely a dumb question, but is there a function to customize the menu? For example, if I wanted the Loop Select on the main tool bar instead of one of the other default tools, can I switch it out? Not that I want or need to, just curious if you can.

The new problem with iPad Pro 10.5 that Dirge59 brough up is not about the Extra-Large mode of the FabFilter plugins but about the fullscreen mode that some of the plugins feature. I reproduced the error with Pro Q2 and Pro R.
Here is a screenshot of ProQ2 in large mode showing the graph labels & meter on the right side and keyboard & menu on the bottom: When the fullscreen mode is entered using the marked icon, parts are missing on the right side and bottom I didn't test this fullscreen mode of plugins with the previous Auria Pro 2.12, so i don't know how the FF plugins behaved with the incorrectly too-small screensize.
But now with Auria Pro 2.13 the screensize reported to the plugin seems to be too big in both dimensions. The iPad Pro 10.5 has a resolution of 2224 x 1688 pixels.

Re: iOS11
Another weirdness regarding the fullscreen-mode of FF plugins: A new method to produce a 'ghost plugin window'
After doing a screenshot in the fullscreen-mode, the normal plugin window was shown additionally to the fullscreen graphics. One can move the window, but its content is inactive - only the fullscreen controls react to user input. If one closes the additional plugin window using the close button, also the fullscreen plugin is closed. I used the Pro R in AUX1. The 'addional window bug on screenshot in plugin fullscreen mode' seems only to happen when AP is playing and showing the track view. The ghost window did not appear when AP was stopped or playing on the mixer view.
I will try to reproduce this bug on my iPad Air 1 and IOS 10.x in the evening - i suspect it is not related to the screensize problem nor to iPad 10.5 nor IOS 11 since i already encountered and reported these 'ghost windows' in the bug tracker before and the methods i found to produce them got fixed
