Auto Punch-In Bug
Auto Punch-In Bug
When using Auto Punch-In during the recording of a vocal performance, upon stopping the recording before the auto Punch-Out point (which has been set far ahead in the timeline), a small portion of the beginning of the newly recorded Punch-In section is repeated at the end of the Punch-In section when recording is stopped. Since a long-form vocal performance is recorded until the performer makes a mistake, and since Auto Punch-In is used to continue recording from a point prior to the mistake, this “repeat audio” is recorded over, but does show up at the end of the last section recorded. So this does not really cause a problem until that last section. A simple edit of that final region removes the leftover “repeated audio”. So this is a ‘glitch” that does no real harm. It’s been present actually since the earliest versions of Auria. It’s somewhat disconcerting when recording, so I thought you might want to correct it when you get a chance. Thanks!
