sidechainning video anyone?

Yea Saturn does have the sidechain menu. And it does, well something, when setting up an envelope follower while having another track chosen in the sidechain drop down menu and the tiny sidechain icon in the envelope follower chosen.

I was not happy with the result but maybe i'm doing something wrong.I dont(!)want to hear the side chaining source in the mix so i routed this track to a subchannel,muted the sub and used the original channel as a SC input in saturn.Saturns envelope follower simply routed to volume level.And yes,it does"something"but...i had better results with the fake side chain preset of saturn (called auto sidechain compression).

Here is the link to my video on sidechaining in Auria with Fabfilter ProG creating the Eurosynth gate technique. Using the ProC should be about the same. Cheers.
