extended snapping options

Would it make sense to have an extended set of snapping options? From my perspective it would become very handy if movements of the cursor would not only snap automatically to region boundaries (if "Events" is selected in the corresponding menu) but also to locator positions and selection boundaries (and even Markers, so there's no need to go to the Menu)? Or maybe i've overseen something???

Yes, this is a good point, and I've added it to my wishlist. Should be pretty easy to to.
