Pro-G questions

Hi Everyone,

I know that trance-gate can be performed by Volcano and Saturn.
Is there any advantage to use Pro-G instead?

I know that Gates are mostly in use for recorded sounds to filter unwanted noises or sound bleeding.
If I create my sounds electronically is there a need for a gate besides trance-gate?

I saw this movie on FF site.
I'm interested to see if there is a reason for me to by Pro-G for electronic (not recorded) music manipulation when I already have Saturn and Volcano.
