Currently syncing BM2 with Auria. Both are set to 120 BPM. Auria is set to send clock, start, stop, and SPP to BM2. BM2 midi is set to receive clock. When hitting play, they sync beautifully. Rewind to the beginning also works. However, when setting a time position bar 2 in Auria, it positions it to bar 5 in BM2. When setting a time position bar 3 in Auria, it positions it to bar 9 in BM2. A time position of bar 4 in Auria, it positions it to bar 13 in BM2. I am assuming I have something incorrectly configured. Suggestions?
Thanks a bunch!

Song Position Pointer Question
Re: Song Position Pointer Question
Hi, thanks for the heads-up, we'll take a look at this right away. One question: what time signatures are you using in the two apps? As having those set differently can cause the issue you're seeing (i.e. 4/4 selected in BM2 and 3/4 selected in Auria, etc).

Re: Song Position Pointer Question
Hi Matt - Both are set to 4/4 with preroll off. Experimented today with extending the seq in BM2. It appears the difference in SPP between the apps is an exact ratio.
Thanks for your prompt reply! Let me know if I can be of any help.

Re: Song Position Pointer Question
I've just had a look, and BeatMaker seems to be off by a factor of 4 when calculating beats/measures from SPP. And I also tried it with Cubasis feeding BeatMaker and it was off the exact same amount, so it looks like a bug in BeatMaker 2.

Re: Song Position Pointer Question
Just a quick test on the ratio. It seems to be a beat-to-bar relationship. A beat in Auria is being "seen" as a bar to BM2 regarding the SPP. By halving the measures (setting time signature to 2/4) the SPP relationship doubles again.
Thanks!

Yep, looks like it's a bug in BM.
