Did a search and didn't come up with much on this that is current....
I have a drum track that is only kick and snare, recorded direct from a synth. The rythm of what I'm playing is pretty basic, but the tempo is slow and I've got a number of hits landing before and after beats a little - enough to be noticed (by me anyway).
I've been cutting out offending hits and either punching in a new one or moving them to the beat. Getting tedious.
I don't think there's a true "quantize" function in Auria, but is there a way I can use the "snap to" function to achieve this either during or after recording?
Thanks so much!
Quantize tracks using "snap to" function?

Re: Quantize tracks using "snap to" function?
You could create a quantized 4 beat bar, and then use the copy and paste function to rebuild the track from that one bar. The play head will snap to bars so it could be done quickly by moving the play head one bar at a time and pasting.

A lot of people think that playing drums fast is hard. It's slow tempos that are really the most difficult to pull off live.
You could create the drum beat in a drum app with quantize and use Drumagog to do the drum replacement with much nicer samples or even your own samples.

I didn't know that you could use your own samples in Drumagog - is there any information on this available?
Re: Quantize tracks using "snap to" function?
A couple of good work-around suggestions - thanks!
Still wondering about "snap to" ... if used in combination with time stretch...would that also work?
I'll see if I can find time to play with this over the Thanksgiving break.
