Adding effects newbie alert
Hi
Auria is a lifechanging app... Thank you
Wondering if I can add a echo effect to vocal, for Maybe fours before my chorus comes in
Can I also do the same Maybe with a flanger effect for 4 bars of a instrument which would not effect the whole of track one (for example). Just adds a effect for just the four bars for the instrument on track one
Or is that what the plug ins do ?
I'm a newbie and proud of it... Cos I wanna be master of auria one day

Re: Adding effects newbie alert
Yes you could do this with the included plugins (PSP StereoDelay for echo and PSP StereoChorus for flanger). Use Auria's automation to constrain the effects to only the bars needed.

Thanks for the response
Ermmmm How do I do that ?
Do I just record in for the bars needed
Sorry pal I'm in father mode so no time to experiment tonight or tomorrow..
So might be quicker n easier to just ask for some guidance
Thanks in advance

Get the pdf manual here http://auriaapp.com/Support/auria-support
Adding effects is on page 40 & 41 and is very well written.

In addition to the Auria User Guide, already mentioned:
http://assets.drumagog.com/manuals/Auri ... 0Guide.pdf
you'll also find some extremely valuable info here:

Between the two, I'm sure you'll find what you need. If not, come back here and we'll do our best for you.
Good luck!

Or you could try the old school method.
On track 1 you have your recorded instrument and you want the first 4 bars to have a effect, create a new track then at the 4th bar on track 1 touch the wave and tap on Split, then drag the first 4 bars down to track 2 below, keeping it in the same position. Now you can add the effect to track 2 by tapping the FX button and choosing one from the channel strip on the right.
We did this a lot on 24trk tape before automation came along, i would record the effect onto a seperate track, if there was not many tracks left then sometimes on the one effect track could be vocals, drums, gtr's all at different places in the song, plus we had the option to then put another effect on the recorded effect track.
