Screen Format Problems w/Auria + Auria Pro upgrade

Hi,

I haven't used Auria Pro in a long time. I'd actually deleted it.

Today I decided to see if it's still viable for my use, and installed it on my iPad Pro 11in m2.

I originally purchased Auria, then the Auria Pro upgrade... so, I have to install plain Auria first, then restore all my purchases that includes the Auria Pro upgrade and various other IAPs that I purchased years ago.

After the install and purchases restore were completed, I noticed the app is not using my entire screen. It's like it's using about 2/3rds of the screen and the bottom portion is blank.

I tried turning Auria setting for retina on/off with no effect. I don't have a "optimize for iPad pro setting" and I've tried rotating back and forth to get it to reset itself.

Is there a fix for this? I'd nearly unusable as it is now. Didn't the last update fix some of this stuff? Or, did that update no fix the issues if your copy of Auria Pro is the "upgraded" version?

Please advise. I'd like to get back to playing with it again.

FYI: to confirm this is a screen resolution problem, related to the 11in screen size and resolution of iPad Pro 11in M2... I installed Auria on an iPad mini 5, then restored the Auria Pro purchase and various IAPs, and it all worked fine. This problem appears to be related to specific screens and I'm hoping an easy and quick fix.

It looks like the main interface only goes over about 3/4 of the way and then interface with no background on the right. At the bottom of the screen it's blank, as if it's not auto-sizing to the device screen.

This was a fresh install. I uninstalled my upgraded Auria Pro a year or so ago. I only recently decided to give it another shot, and installed it fresh... then ran all the restored purchases.

It seemed like everything was ok at first... then the auto-conforming went out of whack on it's own while running the restore purchases. I tried all the various settings and hard iPad reset. No luck. Then deleted everything, restarted and tried again. Same thing and gave up and thought I'd try here.

On a whim, I tried the install and restore purchases on an iPad mini 5 that I use as a drone display. It went fine. No issues at all. I just can't use Auria Pro on this device though. It doesn't have much storage and I only use it as a drone display.

I need this to work and format correctly on my iPad Pro 11in m2, but it's not working out that way.

The screenshots in the post above are from an iPad 11pro m2. I installed regular Auria, then restored my purchases that include an upgrade to Auria Pro. This was after a fresh install from scratch yesterday. Turning on/off retina support makes no difference. I do not have a switch for iPad Pro resolution.

The screen formatting is correct on the test install I did on my iPad mini 5.

I'm guessing maybe this is related to the fact that my install is one of those weird ones where you have to install the regular Auria first, then restore to the Auria Pro upgrade?

Perhaps I could simply be provided with a redeem code for Auria Pro instead? I've already paid for Auria and the Auria Pro upgrade, so it's not like I'm asking for a "gift" or anything. I've also purchased many of the in-app plug-in offerings as well.

My only concern would be that if I installed a fresh Auria Pro version, that it wouldn't recognize all my previously purchased IAPs.

I have exactly the same problem. I have Auria on my iPad Pro , but hadn’t used it for an out a year. When i idid I got the same results as you. I posted the problem on the board , but I didn’t get any solution.I will also have to install from the standard to the pro. Have you managed to find an answer?

I wonder if the add-ons are causing this? I only have the Pro and Video add ons, and I don’t have the issue.

No. I was beginning to think Auria has been abandoned. I've tried sending the developer Rim direct messages and have posted several times here. No replies from the dev at all. I even cited the issues in the AppStore review section... hoping maybe they'd see that and respond... but nothing.

They are still selling it for $50 in the AppStore though, so one would think it's still a supported app?

I don't know, but I don't think so. All of my add-on IAPs were purchased after the "Pro" upgrade purchase. Since I have to install the plain Auria first, before restoring any of my purchases... I wouldn't think they'd effect the first regular Auria install. But it looks the same even before I restore the Auria Pro and various IAP purchases I've made.

I think the developer hasn't included the screen size and resolutions beyond iPads from a few years ago. As I've mentioned, if I do a test install and restore purchases on my iPad mini 5, everything works fine. The screen res and format is correct and everything seems to function as expected.

The only problem is that my iPad mini has minimal storage and I ONLY have it for casual browsing and as a DJI drone display.

So, this appears to be strictly an issue regarding the app's code does not include the varied screen res and formats that were released by Apple after the dev evidently decided not to update it any more.

I was hopeful that the last update that showed up a few months ago, signaled that it was still being supported and that bugs like this had been addressed.

Unfortunately, that doesn't appear to be the case.
