Empty regions in backup file

Post by macmac62 » Sun Dec 16, 2012 10:01 am

Hi, i have now finished recording my project and some preliminary mixing and want to go into mastering, not before doing a dedicated backup file. If I use the menue item "Save copy of project", the backup file shows some regions empty, with no signals in them. Whats the problem?
Thanks for any help!

So your original project is fine (all regions are displayed), but your backup copy has some empty regions in it?

This is unusual. Can you send me a zip of your original project? I'll try to make a backup here, and see why your regions are not being copied.

Thanks,

I just tried it again and now it worked. The difference: the first time I renamed the backup file when prompted (from ...bk_2 to ...bk) and then had Auria save the file, with the result that most regions were empty. Now I let Auria save as proposed, (... bk_2) and all is fine, everything is there.
So my problem is solved, but it may be a minor bug, if you can reproduce it.
The file has more than half a GB, 22 tracks I wonder if a zip would be small enough to be sent? But now its OK.
Thanks !!!
Marcus

OK, it looks like you probably had another backup project called...Bk. Auria will automatically append a number to the end of the backup if it finds another folder with that same name.
